New England Patriots airplane spotted at El Paso International Airport

The New England Patriots team plane was spotted Thursday morning at the El Paso International Airport.

A team spokesman said the plane is chartered by Eastern Airlines and used for various flights in their available inventory of planes.

According to a spokesperson for the El Paso International Airport: "The visit purpose of private charter flights is information that isn't shared with the El Paso International Airport."

In 2021, the team plane surfaced in El Paso as part of a Domestic Department of Defense transport.

The Patriots are one of the most successful NFL franchises with six Super Bowl championships, tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl wins. New England has played in a total of 11 Super Bowls.

The franchise's all-time leading passer is Tom Brady, with 74,751 yards and 541 touchdowns. The all-time scoring leader is Stephen Gostkowski with 1,775 points and the all-time winningest coach is Bill Belichick with 262 wins.
