Enjoy the colors of fall
Nov. 20—Palestine is located in the Texas Forest Trail Region, where beautiful autumn color is a featured attraction each November. Each fall, the picturesque landscape transforms to the vibrant colors throughout the East Texas woodlands.
As the leaves begin to change, locals and visitors alike enjoy outdoor adventures, train excursions, local cuisine, shopping and scenic driving routes along breathtaking back roads and throughout our parks.
Davey Dogwood Park offers 200-acres of forested land with hard surface roads, hiking and biking trails and scenic views. The season also offers amazing color for picnics, photo shoots, hiking and nature walks in the 700-acre community forest.
