Prince Louis acted like a true four-year-old at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant yesterday, making funny faces during the event and going so far as to cover his mom Kate Middleton's mouth with his hand when she tried to get him to behave. Louis' expressions were documented extensively by photographers.

Kate and William reflected on Platinum Jubilee weekend on their Instagram this morning, even giving Louis a shoutout for his cheeky behavior. “What a fantastic weekend of celebrations,” they wrote. “Seeing people across the nation coming together with family, friends and loved ones has been extremely special. Thank you to everyone who turned out to show their gratitude to The Queen and her inspiring 70 years of leadership. Louis turned four in May. It isn't often details come out about his personality, but a source described him and his older sister Princess Charlotte as “cheeky” to Us Weekly in November 2020.
“[Oldest brother Prince] George is well-behaved,” the source started. “All the kids are, but Charlotte and Louis both have a cheeky streak. Louis is more like Charlotte in personality than George!”
Louis was also a standout star during Trooping the Colour Thursday. His funny faces while on the balcony with Queen Elizabeth II, his parents, and siblings during the flypast got considerable media attention.
