Snow leads to massive pileup in Wisconsin, dozens injured
Dozens of people were injured in a massive traffic pileup amid snowy conditions in southern Wisconsin on Friday, which blocked Interstate 39/90 for hours, authorities said. Beloit Memorial Hospital said at least 27 people were treated for injuries sustained in the crash, WIFR-TV reported. At least 21 people were injured in a pileup involving at least 85 vehicles on Interstate-39/90 in Rock County, Wisconsin, on Friday, January 27, the Wisconsin State Patrol (WSP) reported.According to local news reports, a nearby hospital said it received 27 patients with injuries.No deaths were reported.WSP said authorities closed both sides of I-39/90 shortly after the incident was reported between Janesville and Beloit at 12:30 pm local time.
