UPDATE: Second driver identified in Geneva County Crash

UPDATE:

GENEVA COUNTY, Ala (WDHN) — One person is dead, and another is in a Florida hospital following a Geneva County crash.

Geneva County Coroner Donny Adkinson identified the victim as 43-year-old Sebastian Exzibea George of Enterprise.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, George was killed when the 2011 Nissan Versa he was driving hit a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 32-year-old Mindy Joy Perez of Dothan head-on.

Coroner Adkison says Perez was airlifted to the Fort Walton-Destin Hospital in critical condition.

Troopers say that George was not wearing a seatbelt during the crash.

The crash occurred on Columbus Holley Road in Samson on Thursday, February 1.
