Camila Cabello’s hot new single? Made in Miami.

The former Fifth Harmony bandmember talked about how “I LUV IT” came to be on a recent Audacy podcast with Joshua “Bru” Brubaker.

The 27 year old said she was in the studio with sample-making king Jasper Harris going over the song’s signature, buzzy four chords.

“I got in the booth and started trying some stuff,” she said. “I saw the guys going crazy from outside... I [was] like, ‘Yeah, I love it.’ I was speaking, but the tune probably made it sound like what it sounds like now. They [were] like, ‘Keep saying that.’ It was a happy accident.”

Cabello is particularly fond of the digitized, upbeat collab with Playboi Carti — the first release from the forthcoming album “CXXO” — because no one saw it coming.

The electronica-style track is for sure way different from past pop/ R&B/salsa inspired chart toppers like “Havana,” “I Have Questions,” “Shameless” and “Señorita,” a duet with ex Shawn Mendes.

“The energy of this whole project is being bold and unpredictable, taking risks and pushing my boundaries [in] uncharted territory,” said the Cuba native. “People were like, ‘Whoa, what is this?’ That’s exactly the reaction that we wanted.”
