GMA Network recently released the first trailer for the upcoming Filipino live-action series “Voltes V: Legacy.”

On Sunday, the Filipino TV and radio network posted the epic five-minute clip on its social media pages and YouTube channel. In the video, members of the Voltes Team can be seen joining forces to “defend the Earth from humanoid aliens, known as Boazanians, who plans to invade the planet and launch their beast fighters all over the world.”

The 80-episode show, which features an all-Filipino cast, is based on the popular Japanese anime series “Voltes V.” The series, which ran from 1977 to 1978, was produced by Toei Company and Sunrise.

‘Voltes V: Legacy” was directed by Mark A. Reyes and written by Suzette Doctolero. The show stars Miguel Tanfelix as team leader Steve Armstrong, Matt Lozano as Robert "Big Bert" Armstrong and Raphael Landicho as "Little Jon" Armstrong.
