'Epically Long Lines' Faced by Easter Weekend Travelers at Atlanta Airport

Easter weekend travelers braved long lines at the Atlanta International Airport on Friday, April 15, amid flight delays and an evacuation prompted by a suspicious item.

The airport reported the suspicious item in the south terminal on the Friday morning and cordoned the area, later resuming operations after clearing the space.

According to airline tracker FlightAware, nine flights had been cancelled at the airport and 316 were delayed as of Friday afternoon.

This video taken by Daryn Kagan shows long lines at the airport.

Kagan told Storyful she filmed the video before the bomb scare and attributed the lines to “just too many people.”
