Epping High School names Class of 2023 Latin Honors students
EPPING — Epping High School has announced the Latin Honors students in its Class of 2023.
The following student is graduating summa cum laude:
Mackenzie Milbury
Mackenzie Milbury, daughter of Matthew and Erin Milbury, is graduating Summa Cum Laude and also as a NH Scholar with a distinction in STEM. Mackenzie was a three-season varsity athlete for her entire high school career playing on the soccer team, basketball team, and softball team. She captained both the basketball and softball teams for two years.
Mackenzie also spent many hours learning from and assisting the school’s athletic trainer during sporting events. Additionally, Mackenzie was a member of the Student Leadership Council, the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, and Project Search at UNH. She holds numerous part-time jobs working as a lifeguard at Water Country, a hostess at the Tuckaway Tavern, and a scorekeeper at Zero Gravity Basketball.
In 2022, Mackenzie was the recipient of the St. Anselm College Book Award, the Society of Women Engineers Award, the U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award, and received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence. In her senior year, she again received the Presidential Excellence Award as well as the Senior Math Award, the Senior English Award, and was named the Top Female Athlete. Mackenzie was accepted to Quinnipiac University, James Madison University, the University of New England, the University of Ohio, and several other colleges. In the fall, she will continue her study of athletic training at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Kaelin Beattie
Kaelin Beattie, daughter of David and Karen Beattie, is graduating Magna Cum Laude and also as a NH STEAM Scholar. Kaelin will attend the University of Massachusetts/Amherst to major in natural resources and wildlife conservation.
Kaitlyn Chapman
Kaitlyn Chapman, daughter of Jim and Jen Chapman, is graduating Magna Cum Laude and also as a NH Scholar. Kaitlyn will attend Vermont State University at Castleton to major in environmental science.
Leah Hackett
Leah Hackett, daughter of Craig and Jennifer Hackett, is graduating Magna Cum Laude and also as a NH STEM Scholar. Leah will attend Montana State University to major in engineering.
Daniel Johnson
Daniel Johnson, son of Jim and Lise Johnson, is graduating Magna Cum Laude and also as a NH STEAM Scholar. Daniel will attend Manchester Community College in the electrical line worker program.
Liam Morang
Liam Morang, son of Jonathan and Amy Morang, is graduating Magna Cum Laude and also as a NH STEM Scholar. Liam will attend the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts in the six-year Doctor of Pharmacy program.
Miriam Peck
Miriam Peck, daughter of Kevin Peck and Crystal Turton, is graduating Magna Cum Laude and also as a NH Scholar. Miriam will attend Lasell University in Newton, Massachusetts to study forensic science.
Luke Snyder
Luke Snyder, son of Jason and Carrie Snyder, is graduating Magna Cum Laude and also as a NH STEM Scholar. Luke will attend Great Bay Community College to major in computer technologies.

Nathan McTague will attend Stonehill College to major in political science.

Brooke Needham will attend the University of New Hampshire to major in business administration.
Brady Powicki
Brady Powicki will attend the University of New Hampshire to major in electrical engineering.
Olivia Sousa
Olivia Sousa will attend Lasell University to major in fashion merchandising and management.
Christopher Sullivan
Christopher Sullivan will attend Great Bay Community College to major in psychology.
