New Epstein accuser comes forward

Another woman is suing the estate of Jeffrey Epstein.

Teala Davies filed a lawsuit on Thursday (November 21), joining ranks with more than a dozen other plaintiffs who have accused the late financier of sexual abuse.

Davies said that Epstein had abused her at his home in New York, as well as New Mexico, Florida, the Virgin Islands and France.

She spoke to the media on Thursday (November 21) alongside her lawyer.

"I was only 17 years old. I was a little girl. It took me a long time to break free from his mind control and abuse. It wasn't a clean break either. I still have flash backs. It still hurts and like I said I'm still scared."

Epstein hanged himself in a Manhattan jail in August.

He was awaiting trial for sex trafficking - charges involving dozens of underage girls.

He had pleaded not guilty.

One high-profile person caught up in the scandal: Britain's Prince Andrew.

He's denied accusation of having sex with a 17 year-old girl that Epstein had procured for him.

He's never been charged with criminal wrongdoing, but under pressure he stepped down from public duties this week, a move applauded by one of the lawyers for the accusers.

"

I think that's a positive step towards taking responsibility for what has happened. I think another second positive step would be for him (Prince Andrew) to actually come forward and allow himself to be interviewed and to present the evidence that he has."

Epstein's estate has proposed a fund to settle allegations out of court

But complaints have surfaced that the estate was keeping the women in the dark.

A judge on Thursday (November 21) ordered the two sides to confer and report back on progress in early January.
