STAVANGER, Norway (AP) _ Equinor ASA (EQNR) on Wednesday reported a loss of $2.42 billion in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Stavanger, Norway-based company said it had a loss of 75 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 18 cents per share.

The oil and gas company posted revenue of $11.75 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $5.51 billion, or $1.69 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $45.82 billion.

Equinor shares have climbed 12% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 10% in the last 12 months.
