Eras Tour movie comes to MS Coast one day early. ‘Look what you genuinely made me do.’

The Taylor Swift Eras Tour movie will begin playing on the Mississippi Coast Thursday night — one day earlier than originally planned, Cinemark 16 in Gulfport confirmed Thursday.

The concert movie officially opens Friday. But in a last-minute shift, the theater company announced early access screenings to accommodate its “already record-breaking presales,” Cinemark Chief Marketing and Content Officer Wanda Gierhart Fearing said in a press release.

“Look what you genuinely made me do,” Swift wrote on Instagram on Wednesday. “Due to unprecedented demand we’re opening up early access showings of The Eras Tour Concert Film on THURSDAY in America and Canada!!”

Swift said tickets would be available by 10 a.m. Thursday.

Cinemark 16 said showings begin at 6 p.m and fans can purchase tickets through Cinemark.com or the box office in Gulfport.

The Eras Tour concert film, announced in August, is playing at AMC, Regal and Cinemax theaters across the country. Tickets cost $19.89 for adults and $13.13 for children.

The film will play at Cinemark 16 in Gulfport through Nov. 5. It will also play at movie theaters in Covington and Kenner, Louisiana as well as AMC theaters in Mobile.

The movie had already earned $100 million in advance ticket sales across the world and is the highest-grossing concert film in history, according to Variety. It is expected to collect $150 million to $175 million in total.

“And the best part is, it’s an adventure we’re still on together,” Swift wrote. “Getting in the car now…”
