Erbes Fire Threatens Structures and Residents in Thousand Oaks, California

The Erbes Fire in Thousand Oaks, California, grew to approximately 250 acres on Thursday, January 14, threatening structures and prompting voluntary evacuations, the Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD) said.

Footage shared by the VCFD shows the blaze’s progression near Erbes Road. No structures were lost as control lines were formed around most of the area, the fire department wrote on Twitter.
