Country music superstar and growing Nashville businessman Eric Church has announced a 27-date run of shows with 18 special guests that will run between June and October this year.

The Outsiders Revival Tour marks the first outdoor summer amphitheater events in Church's two-decade-long country music career.

“When I approach touring, I’m always inspired by a new experience, a new way to gather, to express ourselves sonically and visually," Church said in a press release. "Whether it’s solo, in the round, double down; being able to bring a different perspective has always brought out our best creatively. [I've] never brought a summer experience to your town that featured artists we want to share the summer with, until now."

There is no Nashville date on the schedule. The closest visit is Bristol's Country Thunder Festival on Oct. 7.

Meanwhile, Church is also currently expanding his business holdings in Music City.

Church and longtime manager John Peets formed Solid Entertainment. The company's focus is expanding the singer's off-stage footprint via an upcoming Lower Broadway bar and music venue called Chief's, the newly launched SiriusXM channel Outsiders Radio, the Church Choir fan club and an in-house merchandise line.

Industry professional Marshall Alexander is listed as Solid Entertainment's president. He also provides oversight on Chief's, a six-story barbecue joint, bar and live entertainment spot that plans to open next year in Lower Broadway. The seven-person team includes day-to-day management, Outsiders Radio leadership and digital marketing, plus fan club and merchandising operations.

"As our business continues to expand in different areas, it was important to me to establish a team of people that is focused on this growth," Church said in a statement. "None of us got into music for the business of it, yet it’s part of how we are our most creative selves: through finding those other avenues for connection."
