Country star Eric Church is continuing his arena tour in 2022 — including Resch Center shows in Green Bay next month — and playing country festivals this summer.

But on May 28, he'll headline a "one-of-a-kind" stadium show in Milwaukee, the Saturday during Memorial Day weekend.

Church will be at the Brewers' American Family Field May 28 for a special show dubbed "One Hell of a Night in Milwaukee," with openers Brothers Osborne and Parker McCollum.

So far, it's the only stadium show he has planned this year, and it will be just the second stadium-headlining show of his career, following a Nissan Stadium concert in Nashville in 2019 for over 56,000 fans.

“Back in 2006, I think I was first-of-six booked at Country Thunder, but it was the big stage,” Church said in a statement Wednesday. “ 'Sinners' had just been released … and the next year, I remember playing Kelly’s Bleachers and half the room was there to see us play, the other half had no idea who we were. The next time we played, those 378 people brought friends … and that never really stopped. ... See you on May 28, Milwaukee.”

Milwaukee has been a strong market for Church, from opening for Chesney at the Brewers stadium in 2013, to playing a Bradley Center show that ended after midnight in 2017, to doing two sold-out nights at Fiserv Forum in 2019.

His profile and popularity have continued to grow, from winning entertainer of the year at the CMA Awards in 2020, to releasing the triple album "Heart & Soul" last year.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 18 at ericchurch.com, with members of the Church Choir fan club getting early access beginning Friday, including tickets to a “Church Choir Pre-Show Gathering” that includes access to a pre-show party, two drinks and other perks. Prices have yet to be announced.

Milwaukee hasn't had a stadium concert since 2019 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but May is looking like a huge month, especially for country music fans. Chesney will also be at American Family Field May 14, fulfilling a show originally booked for 2020, with Dan + Shay, Old Dominion and Carly Pearce opening.
