For restaurant Inspections: At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded Aug. 10 through Thursday.

5 critical violations

Black Jax Bar & Grill, 8040 Perry Highway, Summit Township. Also, six noncritical violations. Aug. 16. Restaurant closed.

1 critical violation

Western Reserve Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, 1521 W. 54th St., Millcreek Township. (Exterior door has a gap that is open to pests.) Also one noncritical violation. Aug. 15

Larry's Tatar Shack, 11479 Hill Road, Venango Township. (No food safety certification person.) Also one noncritical violation. Aug. 12

1 noncritical violation

Rum Runners, 2 State St. Aug. 15

Dickey's Barbecue Pit, 3716 Liberty St. Aug. 15
