At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded Feb. 1 through Thursday.

3 critical violations

Ocean Buffet, 220 W. Plum St., Edinboro Boro. (Raw chicken held above pork and beef; organization needed in the walk-in cooler to keep food in appropriate hierarchy; Flour, rice, sugar, and salt found in trash cans with no lid coverings; Ice machine found to have build up of mold and slime, must be cleaned and sanitized.) Monday

1 critical violation

Jin's China Kitchen, 10 E. Washington St., Corry. (The handwash sink was blocked and not accessible at all times for employee use.) Tuesday

Fresh Healthy Cafe, 654 Millcreek Mall, Millcreek Township. (Facility does not have a food safety manager certification.) Feb. 2
