Erie County restaurant inspections for Jan. 4-10, 2024

At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded Jan. 4 through Thursday.

4 critical violations

Bubble House, 450 Millcreek Mall, Millcreek Township. (No drying method at hand-wash sink; No chemical sanitizer being used between utensil uses; No certified food safety employee on staff; Employee did not wash hands properly before food preparation.) Also four noncritical violations. Jan. 5.

3 critical violations

Longhorn Steakhouse, 6750 Peach St., Summit Township. (Salad spinner not cleaned as often as necessary; Employee donned gloves without washing hands; Too much sanitizer used on food contact surface.) Also one noncritical violation. Monday

1 critical violation

Community Shelter, 655 W. 17th St. (No paper towels at hand-wash sink.) Monday

1 noncritical violation
