Erie County restaurant inspections for Sept. 14-21, 2023
For restaurant Inspections: At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded Sept. 14 through Thursday.
Two critical violations
Pita Pit, 6803 Peach St., Summit Township (Resurface or replace deeply scored cutting boards; Filters are to be taken down and deep cleaned.) Monday
One critical violation
Tinseltown Mama Rugi's, 1910 Rotunda Drive, Summit Township (Rodent droppings under counters away from food items.) Also, one noncritical violation. Tuesday
Dollar General, 1700 Peach St. (Restrooms not cleaned regularly enough.) Also one noncritical violation. Monday
Amigo Taqueria & Botanas, 5630 Peach St. Millcreek Township. (Fruit flies still present in dry storage.) Sept. 15
Previous violations corrected
Burger King, 7800 Peach St., Summit Township. (Buildup was observed in ice machine. Machine was cleaned while inspector on site.) Sept. 15
