Erik Davidson seeks re-election to RTD Board of Directors

Jul. 13—Erik Davidson, who currently represents District 1 on the RTD Board of Directors, has announced that he will run for re-election in November.

Davidson submitted more than 450 signatures to the Colorado Secretary of State's Office and is now awaiting their verification, according to a news release issued Wednesday.

Davidson has served on the RTD Board of Directors since January 2021.

"During (Davidson's) time on the Board, he has authorized increased pay for frontline employees, improved the financial stability of RTD, and championed the cooperation agreement between RTD and the Front Range Passenger Rail District," the news release said. "(Davidson) expects the Secretary of State to approve his signatures and looks forward to working with the community to continue to ensure access to public transit for all residents of District I."

District 1 includes Longmont, Erie, Lafayette and Broomfield.
