Escambia County Sheriff's Office is looking for leads in fatal Brownsville shooting

Deputies are still investigating any possible leads they can get about a man found dead in a vehicle in the Brownsville area on Saturday morning, according to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.

ECSO responded to the area of the 3300 block of Cervantes Street and North Wentworth Street and found a male in a vehicle with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released at this time.

Authorities questioned 28-year-old Jabbaar Raheem Rivers Franklin in connection to the homicide. As of Monday night, no arrests have been made in the case.
