Dallas-Fort Worth residents looking to escape the recent chilly temperatures can visit any of these sunny locations which are just one flight away from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

The DFW Airport has more than 73 million visitors per year and offers 193 domestic and 67 international flight destinations.

Here are ten locations that are just one flight away for Metroplex travelers. Prices could change based on the airline selected, the date tickets are booked or the time you fly among other factors.

10. Cancun, Mexico

A popular vacation destination with a plethora of resorts for travelers to stay at, miles of beaches to explore and nightlife to explore. Flights from American Airlines at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport begin at $221 for basic economy and $261 for the main cabin.

The flight is approximately three hours from Dallas-Fort Worth to Cancún International Airport.

9. Montego Bay, Jamaica

Montego Bay is the second largest city in Jamaica and one of its most popular draws for tourists. travelers can snorkel in crystal clear water, laze on some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and check out local vendors at markets.

Flights from DFW to Sangster International Airport will take anywhere from three-and-a-half to four hours. Ticket prices start at $843 for basic economy on American Airlines.

8. Los Angeles

Looking to stay in the country?

Los Angeles could be a perfect travel choice. Multiple historic landmarks to see such as the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Sign, beaches to explore and world-famous museums to visit.

Ticket prices start at $232 from Spirit Airlines and the trip will take approximately three-and-a-half hours to get to Los Angeles International Airport.

For travelers looking to get further away, Madrid is an option. The capital of Spain is known for its vibrant nightlife, delicious cuisine and rich artistic culture.

This flight will be one of the longest on the list clocking in at nine hours to Spain and 11-12 hours on the return trip home from Madrid–Barajas Airport.

Also, it’s the more expensive flight on the list with tickets starting at $1,716 on British Airways.

6. Tokyo

Tokyo is a popular tourist destination for fans of world-class cuisine, video game historians and art lovers.

The 13-hour fight from DFW to Narita International Airport makes it the longest on the list, but not the most expensive with a price tag that begins at $1697 on American Airlines.

A perfect destination for fans of amusement parks with two of the United States’ most popular in Disney World and Universal Orlando.

Ticket prices start at $165 on Frontier Airlines from DFW to Orlando International Airport, making this the cheapest flight on the list. It’s also one of the fastest flights on the list taking a little under three hours to get to Orlando.

4. Las Vegas

The strip in Las Vegas encompasses many of the U.S.’s most famous hotels and casinos including the Venetian, the Egyptian Luxor, and Paris Las Vegas. Fans of music can also check out which artists are hosting residencies in Las Vegas.

Flights to Harry Reid International Airport last about three hours and prices start at $188 on Frontier Airlines.

3. San Diego

San Diego is home to the San Diego Zoo which is one of the most popular zoos in the United States. San Diego also has beaches popular for surfing and is known for its excellent weather.

The flight will take approximately three hours with the cheapest tickets beginning at $232 dollars on Frontier Airline traveling to San Diego International Airport.

2. Atlanta

A great vacation spot for lovers of history with sights relevant to Martin Luther King Jr., the Civil War and other civil rights icons and notable figures.

Flights will take under three hours to get to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and tickets start as low as $259 on Frontier Airlines.
