Escobar Farm Corn Maze returns to Portsmouth this fall. Here's what you need to know.
PORTSMOUTH — Are you ready to get lost?
The Escobar Farm Corn Maze, now in its 23rd season, opens Friday, Sept. 2 and will operate Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 6. It will also be open on Labor Day and Columbus Day. The hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The theme of this year's maze — which covers eight acres and was designed by Brett Herbst of Utah-based company The Maize — is Field of Dreams. There are five areas in the maze dedicated to health, faith, success, happiness and love.
How much is Escobar's Corn Maze
The price for admission is $10 for those 12 and older, $8 for ages 5 to 11 and free for children 4 and younger. A $1 printable coupon is available on the website at escobarfarm.com/coupon. Only cash is accepted on-site.
Are concessions available?
Added attractions this year include concessions, hayrides, picnic tables and a hay play area. The concession stand sells popcorn, candy, soda, water, animal crackers, raisins,
butterscotch flavored lollipops in the shape of an ear of corn and other treats.

Special events happening during the season
Sept. 3: Annual Escobar Farm fireworks display (show starts at dusk).
Sept. 17: Harry Potter Day (wear a Harry Potter costume for $1 off entry).
Oct. 29: Halloween Costume Party (wear a costume costume for $1 off entry).
Mid-week groups are welcome after Labor Day, and the venue is also open to birthday parties. To schedule a private event, call Stuart at 401-864-1064.
Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash at all times. Waste bags will be available to those who bring their furry friends.
