The Auburn men's basketball team blew out the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday night. Auburn defeated Georgia 83-60.

That the game was not competitive led ESPNU broadcasters Tom Hart and Pat Bradley in an odd direction.

The pair discussed a connection that doesn't exist between Auburn radio broadcaster Sonny Smith and actress Megan Fox.

"Sonny Smith is from Roan Mountain, Tennessee," Hart said. "Megan Fox is from Roane County, Tennessee. Don't get them confused."

"I see the resemblance," Bradley said.

The broadcasters lingered on the discussion for more than a minute.

Fox is engaged to singer Machine Gun Kelly. Hart later tweeted, "Machine Gun Kelly is gonna be pi$$ed!"

It's not clear why Hart thinks Kelly would be pissed.

Sheri Wood, the daughter of Sonny Smith, tweeted on Wednesday night, "I never thought I would see the day that my dad will be compared to Megan Fox or Machine Gun Kelly in anyway whatsoever!"

In addition to being the current Auburn radio analyst, Smith was the Auburn men's basketball head coach from 1978-89. He guided Auburn to the NCAA Tournament for five consecutive seasons from 1984-88.
