It was like Christmas in February for Chiefs coach Andy Reid on Sunday.
That’s not only because the Chiefs beat the 49ers 25-22 in overtime of Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium. But after the game, Reid got one of his favorite Christmas gifts.
It came as Reid and his wife were wrapping up a talk with ESPN hosts, including Chris Berman.
“Listen, to the victor go the spoils,” Berman said. “Back to back Super Bowl champion, I know you’ve thought about it but it’s sinking in. But what needs to sink in now is something ... oh, wait a minute. we have burgers.”
Tammy Reid said, “Oh my gosh.”
“We have In-N-Out burgers for you,” Berman said. “You don’t have to eat it on set, it’s up to you. ... But you don’t leave ESPN’s set empty-handed.”
Andy Reid laughed and said, “You know what, I could smell the onions.”
Reid really does love burgers.

You may recall that late in the 2022 season, the Chiefs players gift-wrapped a cheeseburger and presented it to Reid as a Christmas present.
