ESPN broadcaster David Pollack appeared on "The ESPN College Football Podcast" with Rece Davis on Tuesday, and Pollack made a bold statement about Saturday's upcoming football game between the Tennessee Vols and Georgia Bulldogs.

Pollack foresees the Tennessee offense lighting up the Georgia defense.

Davis said to Pollack, "Give me a money-back guarantee this weekend."

"OK, I got you one. Tennessee will score more points on Georgia than anybody has this season," Pollack said.

"That's a good one," Davis said.

Pollack responded, "How do you like that? How do you like them apples?"

The most points against the Georgia Bulldogs defense so far in 2021 are the 13 points scored both by South Carolina on Sept. 18 and Kentucky on Oct. 16. UGA beat South Carolina 40-13, and UGA beat Kentucky 30-13.

The Tennessee offense is averaging 38.22 points per game. Its fewest points in a game were 14 points during a 38-14 loss at Florida on Sept. 25.

Georgia, ranked No. 1 in the USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches Poll, enters the matchup 9-0 overall and 7-0 in the SEC. Tennessee is 5-4 overall and 3-3 in the SEC.

Pollack played defensive end for the Georgia Bulldogs from 2001-04.

During "The ESPN College Football Podcast" on Monday, ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit praised the Tennessee Vols offense and its potential against Georgia.

"(Tennessee quarterback) Hendon Hooker has been ridiculous — two interceptions on the year," Herbstreit said. "I just want to see Tennessee's offense on the field against Georgia's defense. I want to see Hooker with that up-tempo offense at home against Georgia. And Georgia I assume is going to win the game. But Tennessee's offense, Georgia's defense if there's one matchup this Saturday you're going to want to watch, it's that. It's just how will that play out, because that's a hard offense to prepare for with your scout team.

"It's tough to simulate that kind of speed with which the plays are coming," Herbstreit continued. "And of all the games Georgia has left to play, including Alabama if they play them in Atlanta (for the SEC Championship), this will be the toughest offense they play until they get into the (College Football) Playoff."
