Border guards from the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi detachment in Odesa Oblast have received four UMS 425CC patrol boats worth a total UAH 2.2 million from the European Union.

This is reported by European Pravda, citing an announcement by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

It is noted that the boats were provided within the framework of an international technical assistance project, "Together with the EU towards Border Security", which is funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Organisation for Migration.

Each boat accommodates a crew of four and is equipped with life jackets and a sounder to determine the depth of the water beneath the vessel.

The State Border Guard Service recalled that in 2021, as part of the same project, border guards received two UMS 545DC and UMS 425CC boats, which have proven to be highly reliable in protecting the state border.

It has been reported that Denmark has offered to provide Ukraine with 35 heavy machinery vehicles through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism to rebuild critical infrastructure destroyed by the war.
