Euclid police, school officials investigating allegations made against substitute teacher

EUCLID, Ohio (WJW) — The Fox 8 I-Team has learned that Euclid City School officials and Euclid police are investigation allegations of sexual misconduct involving a substitute teacher at Euclid High School.

School officials say the substitute teacher resigned Wednesday morning before district officials were made aware of the allegations.

The district stated the nature of the allegations are “extremely concerning.”

Euclid police confirmed they are investigating. No charges have been filed.  School district officials are cooperating with the police department.

“Given the need to safeguard student privacy rights, we cannot disclose additional details, as the investigation is ongoing,” a statement from the school district states. “We remain committed to a thorough investigation of the situation, prioritizing the well-being and confidentiality of our students and their families.”
