Eudoxie Bridges celebrated the upcoming arrival of her second child with rapper and actor Ludacris on Saturday with a surprise floral-themed baby shower, #EudoxieBabyBloom.
Eudoxie shared candid photos of herself in a custom PayBO floral dress while cradling her baby bump during the event, which was hosted by her friends Mina Jooma and Sineet Tesday.
“A beautiful surprise baby shower thrown by my gorgeous friends @thatsmina & @sineet16,” she said in the caption of an Instagram post. “I’m grateful for my tribe of powerful women who are always supporting me. Love you all! 🧡🧡 #eudoxiesbabybloom.”
Celebrity friends shared their excitement under the post such as singer and actress Letoya Luckett who said, “So gorgeous!!! Everything looked so amazing!! Stunning mama @eudoxie 😍well done @thatsmina ❤️✨” while actress and Real Housewives of Atlanta castmate Eva Marcille responded, “STUNNING.”
The 35-year-old then posted photos of herself and husband Ludacris, 43, with the caption, “Baby daddy @ludacris pulled up only to eat so I snuck a few pics with him. 😂🧡.”
The surprise baby shower mirrored Eudoxie’s “Secret Garden” themed shower from 2015 with a candlelit walkway leading to a room of large bouquets of flowers, sculpted shrubbery, and birdcages, according to PEOPLE. Guests included singers Monica Brown and Letoya Luckett.
“Today was all about the love shared between these two, the memories created and the blessing we are all awaiting!!” Brown wrote at the time alongside a photo of the couple.
The couple shares 6-year-old daughter Cadence while the Fast & Furious actor has daughters Cai, 6, and Karma, 13, from previous relationships. theGrio reported that the couple, who have been married since 2014, recently announced the pregnancy.
“How is it YOUR Birthday & Your Giving Me The Greatest Gift? Joyeux Anniversaire Mrs. Bridges,” he wrote last month in honor of his wife’s birthday.
On May 27, Eudoxie, Ludacris, and their children celebrated Cadence’s sixth birthday decorated in flowers and balloons. “Happy birthday to my amazingly sweet, sassy, smart, independent, funny… baby girl Cadence!” she said in the caption. “I can’t believe you are 6 already! She says she is going to ‘work’ for the baby and be a great big sister. ❤️🙏🏽”
Eudoxie, who has a close relationship with her daughter, documented her mother-daughter trip back home to Gabon in Central Africa in 2018, who she called “the best travel buddy and a good sport.”
