EuroMillions: Biggest ever UK winner could be crowned in Tuesday’s £186m lottery draw

The UK's biggest ever lottery winner could be crowned on Tuesday night as £186m is up for grabs on the EuroMillions draw.

A UK winner of the prize would see them topple the current British lotto record holders from the top spot less than two months after their win.

Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester scooped a record-breaking £184m EuroMillions jackpot in May.

A lucky winner tonight would instantly become richer than singers Harry Styles, who is worth an estimated £100m, and Adele, worth an estimated £150m, according to the Sunday Times Rich List.

If the winner is from the UK, it would become the luckiest EuroMillions nation, overtaking France’s 117 wins to date since the first draw in February 2004. There have already been three UK EuroMillions’ jackpot winners this year alone.

A total of 14 UK National Lottery winners have bagged prizes of more than £100m so far.

EuroMillions players are urged to buy their tickets before 7.30pm on Tuesday to be in with a chance to win the life-changing amount of money.

Camelot said the jackpot will be capped at €230m (£196m), which the operator estimates will be reached in the draw this Friday if no one wins on Tuesday.

What time is the EuroMillions draw?

The EuroMillions draw is held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, and is played in nine European countries.

The EuroMillions draw is at 8.45pm on Tuesday night and can be watched live on the National Lottery's website and YouTube channel.

To be in with a chance to win, players are urged to buy their tickets before 7.30pm on Tuesday.

How much is a EuroMillions ticket?

The EuroMillions draw costs £2.50 per play.

The draw can be entered online or through The National Lottery app.
