Theresa May speech live: Prime minister reveals details of 'new Brexit deal' for MPs

Theresa May has delivered a statement on Brexit, including details of her "new deal".

The Prime Minister, under intense pressure to make progress ahead of Thursday’s European elections, announced that her Withdrawal Agreement Bill would include a vote on whether to hold a second referendum.

She warned this was the last chance to avoid "a nightmare future of permanently polarised politics" and her deal would be guaranteed to last for "at least this Parliament".

Meanwhile, Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage has accused the Electoral Commission of being "absolutely full of Remainers" as the watchdog visited its HQ as part of a probe into its donations system.
