Eutaw woman dies, three injured in Thanksgiving night crash

A 55-year-old Eutaw woman died and three other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thanksgiving night in Greene County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Debbie A. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene of the 8:15 p.m. Thursday crash, which troopers said occurred on U.S. 11 about 2 miles east of Boligee.

Troopers said Taylor's 2009 Toyota Camry was involved in a collision with a 2022 Toyota RAV4 driven by 26-year-old Trenton J. Hughes of Livingston. Hughes and a 1-year-old passenger in the RAV4 were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Cindy L. Taylor, 60, of Eutaw, a passenger in the Camry, was also injured and taken to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

No other details about the crash were released and troopers with ALEA Highway Patrol Division are handling an investigation.
