Evan McPherson breaks Cincinnati Bengals' record with 58-yard field goal in Denver

Cincinnati Bengals rookie kicker Evan McPherson set a new franchise record for longest field goal with his 58-yarder to end the first half of Sunday's Week 15 game - a 15-10 win - against the Broncos in Denver.

The Bengals took a 6-3 lead at the half on McPherson's kick.

McPherson made a 53-yard field goal during the first quarter to give the Bengals a 3-0 lead. He added a 26-yarder in the third quarter, his third field goal of the day.

McPherson entered Sunday having made 21 of his 25 field-goal attempts, including 7-of-8 from 50 yards or longer.
