Valentine's dinner at 7Mile Lounge

The 7Mile Lounge will host a Valentine's Day Couples Dinner Party with a wine and chocolate pairing on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 6-10 p.m. The evening will include dinner, music, a bottle of wine and chocolate pairings. Tickets are $50 per couple. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, Feb. 6.

Bauerhaus Valentine's theme tasting dinner

The Bauerhaus will serve a Valentine's Day-themed dinner and tasting day on Friday, Feb. 9, from 6-8 p.m. A wide array of Bauerhaus catering favorites and cakes will be offered on a buffet with non alcoholic drinks. A cash bar will be available with cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. The cost is $27.99 per person and must be paid in advance. Call to reserve.

Valentine's Dinner at The Copper House

The Copper House will be hosting a special Valentine’s Day wine pairing dinner on Tuesday, Feb. 13, beginning at 6 p.m. On the menu will be four courses including a seared grit cake made with local heirloom grits with braised kale, house-smoked bacon and trout; blood orange and fennel salad with spicy Thai-style shrimp; seared scallops and beef filet au Poivre with creamy green peppercorn sauce with bok choy and Duchess potatoes; and chocolate raspberry cake with lemon curd. Each course will be paired with a complementary glass of wine.

Wonka-themed fundraiser for HeartSaver

Deaconess Heart Hospital will host a Willie Wonka & The Chocolate Factory Luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 8, at Bally's Event Center beginning at noon (doors open at 11 a.m.). The event will benefit HeartSaver's mission of placing automated external defibrillators in locations around the Tri-State. Lunch will be served, and chocolate bars will be sold − one contains a golden ticket which entitles the winner to a chocolate gift basket.

Up for auction will be a two-tiered Wonka-themed cake and a macaron tower, as well as restaurant and food-specific gift cards and restaurant experiences. Tickets are $50.

Bally's Event Center is at 421 NW Riverside Drive.

Valentine's Day at the Farmer and Frenchman

The Farmer and Frenchman will be hosting special Valentine's Day dinners on Wednesday, Feb. 14, and Thursday, Feb. 15, from 7-9 p.m. The meal will include five courses of the Farmer and Frenchman's European-influenced specialties, paired with complementary wines. Courses include panko crusted fennel arancini rice ball with roasted tomato ragout and rosemary pistou; charred octopus with parsnip puree, fingerling potatoes, and Spanish chorizo; classic veal Bolognese over potato gnocchi with crisp guanciale and marinated burrata cheese; red wine braised short ribs over parmesan polenta with a truffle demi glace; and a double chocolate biscotti tiramisu. Tickets may be purchased online only and are $160 per person with wine pairings, or $125 per person without wine. Reserve early, as events at the Farmer and Frenchman sell out.

Gumbo Cook-Off

The Franklin Street Events Association will host the 10th Annual Franklin St. Gumbo Cookoff on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 1-4 p.m. on West Franklin Street. Tickets are $25 if purchased ahead of time or $30 on the day of the event. Businesses and non-profit groups will be serving gumbo all along the length of West Franklin Street. Purchase online and pick up mug at a Franklin street location which will be named before the event.

Pancake breakfast for a cause

The Hadi Shriners will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Sat. Feb 10, from 7-10 a.m. Tickets are $10 and include a drink. The event is open to the public.

Mardi Gras at Mo's House

Mo’s House will be serving special Mardi Gras-themed cocktails throughout the month of February. Look for Hurricanes, Sazeracs, daiquiris and specialty cocktails such as the NOLA 75 with Citadelle Gin, Chinola Liqueur, agave and Champagne; and the Bacchanalian with Pierre Ferrand Cognac, Merlot, agave nectar and lemon.

Noche open On Franklin Street

Noche, the newest restaurant by Richie Patel of The Rooftop and Birdies!, is now open for lunch and dinner on West Franklin Street. The restaurant features exotic appetizers, gourmet tacos and much more. Some menu items are crispy yuca fries with truffle oil and queso fresco with garlic aioli; loaded nachos with choice of meat, house pico, guacamole, jalapeños, chipotle aioli, crema and pickled onion drenched with house queso; and creative tacos with fillings such as shredded chipotle chicken, beef brisket, grilled adobo chicken, beer battered cod, ahi tuna and others, each with unique toppings.

Newburgh Chocolate Walk

The Newburgh Chocolate Walk will happen on Friday, Feb. 9, and Saturday, Feb. 10. Your $10 donation will get you a Chocolate Walk bag from participating businesses on the day of the event. Visit each to collect a chocolate treat as you walk, shop and dine in pretty, historic Downtown Newburgh. Businesses will be participating during their normal hours. Proceeds benefit the Newburgh Area Food Pantry.

Special Valentine's Day Dinner on the Bridge

The Old National Events Plaza will host a special Valentine's Day on the Bridge Dinner on the sky bridge on Wednesday, Feb. 14. There will be multiple seatings over the course of the evening. Guests will be served a welcome glass of Champagne and a sumptuous five-course meal with wine pairings for each course, red roses and a box of chocolate-covered strawberries to take home. Superbowl Party at Prime Sports

Prime Sports will be hosting a special Superbowl Day Party on Sunday, Feb 11. Your $25 ticket nets you guaranteed reserved seating, wing specials, buffet snacks during the game, tickets for prize drawings, and a parting gift. Seating is limited, call to reserve.

Prime Time offers Valentine's Day special Feb 9-14.

The Prime Time Pub and Grill in Newburgh and Prime Time North will offer a special Valentine's theme dinner for two between Friday, Feb. 9, and Wednesday, Feb. 14. The meal is $59.99 for two and includes choices of one appetizer from panko shrimp, Prime Sticks (hand breaded mozzarella cheese) and others; two entrees from a choice of prime rib, fried chicken salad, Bourbon glazed salmon and blackened chicken fettuccine Alfredo; and one desert, either red velvet cheesecake or chocolate cake. A bottle of house wine may be added for $20.

Valentine's Dinner by Sauced and The Wine Vault

The Wine Vault and Sauced will be hosting a special Valentine's Day dinner and wine pairing in the Sauced Ballroom on Wednesday, Feb. 14, beginning at 6 p.m. On the menu are a winter greens salad with smoked almonds, dates and goat cheese; Lobster Newburgh with a white wine and cream sauce on puff pastry; beef filet with Stilton blue cheese mushrooms with grilled asparagus and potatoes Anna; and chocolate covered strawberry cheesecake. Each course will be serve with a complementary wine. Tickets are $100 per person.

Valentine's Day Dinner at Schymik's Kitchen

Schymik’s Kitchen will offer a special Valentine’s Day limited menu on Wednesday, Feb. 14, from 5-9 p.m. Options include Italian wedding soup, pink quinoa salad, jerk chicken egg rolls, oysters with champagne mignonette, seafood paella, glazed duck breast, white chocolate strawberry cheesecake, Devil's food cake bread pudding and more.

Galentine's Cookie Decorating in Henderson

The Whimsy Whisk and Merrymint Celebration Boutique will be offering a Galentine's cookie decorating class on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. You'll get to decorate four festive cookies and enjoy Galentine's mocktails, snacks, photo ops and more. This class is best for those 12 and over. Tickets are $55 person.
