R&B Wine Tasting

The 7 Mile Lounge will host an R&B Wine Tasting on Saturday, June 24, from 8 p.m. until midnight. Three styles of Moscato, a sweet wine with fruity and floral flavors, will be sampled with a pairing tray. Other customer favorite Moscato wines will be offered. Must be 25 and older to attend. Tickets are $15.

Summer menu introduced at seafood restaurant

Catfish Willy's Seafood & Comfort Cuisine has introduced a new menu of summertime specials to accompany their normal menu through the entire summer season. Mix and match your choice of three shrimp dishes with a side for $18.99, enjoy fried Florida grouper a whole Dungeness crab boil, soft shelled crabs, a ribeye steak, chicken parmigiana and more.

Kids' cake decorating at CMOE

The Children's Museum of Evansville will host a cake decorating workshop on Saturday, June 24, from 10-11 a.m. The lesson will be taught by Akira McTier of Taste of Pink. The workshop is included in the price of admission to the museum.

Big changes at Elberfeld ice cream shop

Elbie's Ice Cream in Elberfeld is under new ownership and has announced big changes that began on Thursday, June 15. The shop now carries a dozen flavors of Bliss Artisan ice cream, which will rotate regularly. Chocolate and vanilla will always be available, and there will always be at least one sorbet for those who cannot eat dairy. Enjoy it on a new homemade waffle cone or waffle bowl. The restaurant will also now be open every day and will accept credit cards.

Shriners Fest approaches

The Hadi ShrinersFest will happen on the Evansville riverfront on Friday and Saturday, June 23 and 24. Look for tons of food trucks and food vendors open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. including sweets from Taste of Pink, Fire & Smoke BBQ, Joey Za's Pizza & Steaks, Let's get Fried, ice cream from JB's Barnyard, the RiverWalk Restaurant, JT's American Food on the Fly and more. Once you're full, enjoy Dock Dogs, games and inflatables, a car show and cruise in, live music, a military reinactment of D-Day, Corn Hole, a half pot and much more. See the full schedule here.

Grill out for Ronald McDonald House

Romain Subaru will host a Grill Out Giveback on Saturday, June 24, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Stop by for free burgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks while supplies last and bring some wish list items or a cash donation for the local Ronald McDonald House.

Seton Harvest Community Supported Agriculture farm will be offering a farm tour on Thursday, June 22, from 6-8 p.m., in conjunction with PUSH-IT (Promoting Urban Soil Health in Towns).
