Blues, Barbecue and Bloody Marys in Henderson

The Elm in Henderson, Kentucky, will host Bloody Blues & BBQ on Sunday, May 28, from 3-6 p.m. Create your own bloody mary at the deluxe bloody mary bar, enjoy barbecue and more from the BBQ Hawgs & Dawgs truck, and relax with music by The Amazing Soul Crackers with Tommy Stillwell.

Evansville Food Truck Festival

The Evansville Food Truck Festival will happen Sunday, May 28, from 1-8 p.m. inside Bosse Field. Stop to visit more than 30 food trucks, including many out-of-town visitors with new menu items for you to try, including Chimney's Food Trailer from Paducah, Kentucky, which specializes in Chimney Cakes from Hungary, which are hollow bread tubes filled with savory or sweet fillings; Cousin's Maine Lobster; Coco Bongo frozen drinks; The Toasted Pineapple Snack Shack from Jeffersonville with loaded soft pretzles, dips and craft quesadillas, and more. There will also be beer and wine, food tents, non-food vendors, live music, family fun and much more.

Franklin Street Bazaar begins

The first Franklin Street Bazaar will happen Saturday, May 27, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on the lawn of the West Branch Library at West Franklin Street and Wabash Avenue. Eating opportunities include food trucks and ready-to-eat packaged food, baked goods, fresh coffee, juice and tea drinks, local honey and fresh produce. While you're there, shop arts and crafts, jewelry, fresh flowers, handmade soap and bath products, enjoy live music and more. THe bazaar will continue every Saturday morning through August 26.

Newburgh Strawberry Social

The Historic Newburgh Strawberry Social will happen on Sunday, May 28, from noon-4 p.m. at the Old Lock and Dam park in Newburgh. Stop to have a strawberry shortcake and visit food trucks and market vendors with food, arts and crafts, soap, plants and much more. Enjoy live music, games and rides, and a silent auction. A free trolley will run from Newburgh Elementary. Admission to the event is free but there is a charge for rides and games.

Newburgh Elementary is at 306 State St. Newburgh.

New food truck

Larro's Like That is a new food truck in Evansville. On the menu are egg rolls, Philly sandwiches, Jerk chicken alfredo, wings, fried fish and more. Watch the Facebook page or Evansville Food Trucks for location and times of service.

Lunch on the Lawn

Lunch on the Lawn will happen on Friday, May 26, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on the lawn around the Old Vanderburgh County Courthouse in Downtown Evansville. Enjoy lunch from a variety of food trucks. This is also part of Historic Preservation Month.

The Old Courthouse is at 201 NW Fourth St.

Another new food truck

Shortstacks Kitchen is a new food truck on the streets of Evansville. On the menu is barbecue pork and chicken, smoked turkey, Italian stromboli, ranch pasta salad, mushrooms, sourdough bread and more. Join their Facebook group or watch Evansville Food Trucks for dates and times of service.
