Evansville, Vanderburgh County have state money for road work. See which roads they picked
EVANSVILLE — Both the city of Evansville and Vanderburgh County were awarded grant funding from the state to help with road work.
Evansville received $952,628.09 from the Community Crossings Matching Grant Fund, and Vanderburgh County received $1,064,117.75.
A total of 252 Indiana communities received money from the program. Funds can be used for road and bridge preservation, road reconstruction, intersection improvements and other items, according to the state.

Second Street from Parrett Street to Culver Drive
Boeke Road from Covert Avenue to Washington Avenue
North Burkhardt from South Interchange Road to the north city limit
South Burkhardt from Highcroft Drive to the Lloyd Expressway Lloyd4U construction limit
Red Bank Road from south of Pearl Drive to the Lloyd Expressway Lloyd4U construction limit
Walnut Street from Riverside Drive to Fourth Street
Weinbach Avenue from Kathleen Avenue to Pollack Avenue

Orchard Road
Upper Mount Vernon Road
Old State Road
Petersburg Road
