There's a possibility of up to a half-inch of snowfall in Evansville Sunday night that could result in hazardous road conditions Monday morning.

The National Weather Service's Paducah, Kentucky, office released a special weather statement Sunday afternoon forecasting snowfall over Evansville starting late on Sunday night and lasting into the early-morning hours on Monday.

Henderson County in Kentucky and Posey and Warrick counties in Indiana are included in the weather advisory.

The snow is coming from a storm system that's "diving quickly" into the Ohio Valley. Because temperatures will be in the upper 20s, the forecast expects road conditions to get slippery once the snow touches down.
