An Evening with Exeter's Chefs set for Dec. 6

EXETER - Tickets are now available for an Evening with Exeter’s Chefs who will offer a sampling of delicious tastes from their restaurants during a fundraiser for the Exeter Area Scholarship Fund.

The Dec. 6th event will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and will also feature live music and art from Town Exeter Arts Music (TEAM).

Now in its sixth year, the Exeter Area Scholarships Fund has proven to change lives. The fund is different because its founders are passionate about providing educational opportunities to local students who’ve been overlooked for traditional scholarships as well as those with challenging backgrounds and unique circumstances. In addition to providing scholarships, the scholarship organizers regularly communicate with EAS scholarship recipients and are always there for them to offer advice and support.

Four of Exeter’s top chefs are participating in the event including Lee Frank of Otis, Stanley Orantes of Ambrose, Paul Callahan of Vino e Vivo and Tim O’Brien of Cornicello. Dessert is being provided by Master Chocolatier Samantha Brown of La Cascade du Chocolat while Keith Lemerise, of the Wine Loft at Trends Gift Gallery, is pairing wine with food. Sawbelly Brewing is one of several local brewers offering libations for the event.

Thanks to TEAM who will feature live music from Chad Verbeck and donate a portion of all sales from the art gallery to the scholarship fund.

Tickets to the event will offset the cost of food and wine so that 100% of the money raised on this night can go directly to the scholarship fund. Recipients have gone on to Johnson and Wales, Great Bay Community College, North Eastern Institute of Whole Health and Southern New Hampshire University. For most of these institutions, the fund can cover an entire semester for one of our students at an average cost of $2,500 to $5,000.

Tickets can be purchased at  eventbrite.com.
