FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Looking for a fun way to support those in law enforcement who protect our city and keep us safe? You can sign up to participate in the Support Blue Run coming to Fresno’s Woodward Park.

The annual Support Blue Run supports all branches of the Fresno Police Department and is expecting to draw 6,000+ participants for the 2024 run, both civilians and law enforcement from all over the Valley.

Support Blue Fresno is a grassroots effort that aims to foster trust and confidence between officers and the community they serve.

The event features a 10k run, a 5k run, and a two-mile walk that participants will be able to choose from.

According to the Fresno Police Chaplaincy, tactical units will be on display for the public to interact with including SWAT, K-9, Mounted Patrol, and a Skywatch helicopter.

Participants will also get a long-sleeved event shirt, finisher medallion, Krispy Kreme Donuts, Dutch Bros Coffee, and more.

The family-friendly event will take place on Feb. 24. More information can be found at their website.
