When was the last time you saw Pep Guardiola in a suit? The man who once championed tailoring over tracksuits is now rarely seen outside of grey knitwear and Man City merch.

He still looks great, obviously, but we do miss seeing his impeccable suits on the sideline. That's why James McAvoy's managerial get-up at this year's Soccer Aid match made such an impact.

Last night, the 40-year-old was a shining, expletive-shouting example for any man whose job it is to point and roar and weep at the prospect of a Very Good Goal.

Just look at it: a polished two-piece, a presumably Swiss watch, a hand clenched in victory as his boys edge ever close to a League One promotion. In short, it was classic tailoring 101. The foolproof palette is something every man can endorse, too, and better yet, nips and tucks in all the right places. If you're on top flight footballer manager money, the least you can do is visit a tailor. No PE teacher/Tony Pulis baseball caps. No sagging track suit jackets, either.

All of which means you should play make believe. And you can do so with all the right kit below.
