Netflix released the first full season of Freeridge on February 2, 2023. An April 2023 report by Rolling Stone revealed that the On My Block spin-off will not be returning for another season. Despite its critically acclaimed reviews and dedicated fanbase, the Latinx-led show has been canceled two months after its 8-episode run premiered. What was Freeridge season 2 going to be about?
Freeridge's premiere season ended with an epic cliffhanger that raised many questions about where the plot would have gone.
