From Cosmopolitan

Oh, Peter the Pilot. Even if you didn't tune into Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette every Monday night, you've probably at least seen his name. But, there's more to Peter Weber than what you've seen on Twitter. He's not just the man who had sex with Hannah FOUR TIMES in a windmill. He's a lot deeper than that, okay? He's clearly one of ABC's top picks for the next Bachelor, so here's what you need to know about him.

The basics:

Peter is a pilot for Delta Airlines, which he announced in this adorable Insta post in March 2018. “I can’t express my gratitude enough to everyone who’s helped me achieve my dream; thank you a million times. I feel like a little kid right now and I’ll never forget this feeling.” Aw.

Also according to his ABC bio, Peter enjoys “snowboarding, watching football, and line dancing.” Oh, and his life motto is “You should live this life always expecting something great is about to happen to you,” which is basically just a nod at meeting Hannah B, duh.

He was the second runner up on The Bachelorette.

Peter was a frontrunner from the very beginning of the season. On the fourth episode, he set himself apart from the rest of the dudes by officially asking Hannah to be his girlfriend (even though she’s simultaneously dating a bunch of other guys right now). Alabama Hannah said yes, and then they made out a lot. He made it to the top three with Jed and Tyler C., but was unfortunately sent home.

The internet is soo thirsty for him

These tweets truly speak for themselves. Everyone just really loves this bb pilot.

He may have dumped a girl to go on the show

Uh...maybe Peter isn’t as perfect as everyone thinks he is. There were some rumors that Peter dumped his girlfriend via TEXT to go on The Bachelorette. Model Calee Lutes eventually came forward and told Entertainment Tonight that Peter abruptly dumped her after they had said they loved each other, discussed moving in together and met each other's families. When she saw the cast list for The Bachelorette, everything made sense. Calee claims that Peter isn't on the show for the right reasons, saying, " I believe he went on it for the chance at fame, and he got what he wanted." Yikes.

Thankfully, Calee has a new man in her life now and things seem to be going super well for the couple.

Being a pilot runs in the fam

Peter’s parents actually met because his dad was a pilot and his mom was a flight attendant. He also has a hot pilot brother, aka Jettin Jack.

He’s not afraid to incorporate flying into his dating life

Apparently, Peter once took a girl on a flight to Santa Barbara for dinner at sunset. (The expectations for dates have just been raised exponentially by all women everywhere.) So it came as no surprise when Peter took Hannah for her own spin in the Pete plane in the hometowns ep.

Apparently, he lives with his parents

There’s always something, amirite? Peter the Pilot may have a big boy job flying planes, but he apparently still lives at home. Hopefully his time in the mansion convinces him to leave his childhood bedroom. But if not, we can prob get past it. Could Peter be the first Bachelor to ever still live with his parents? (TBH, I'm not exactly sure where Arie lived but...we're not ruling out the thought of him living in his childhood bedroom in a racecar-shaped bed.

Spoiler alert:

Peter is most likely the next Bachelor.

Reality Steve has officially confirmed that Peter will be the next Bachelor. In the end, it allegedly came down to him and Mike, but the pilot won. Although Reality Steve is usually correct, it's probably a good idea to take this news with a grain of salt. He initially announced that Tyler was the winner of The Bachelorette, and we all know that didn't happen, so...it's hard to say.

Anyway, if Peter is the Bachelor, I hope he makes some really nice girl very happy with a lifetime of free (or discounted) air travel.
