From Harper's BAZAAR

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged in late July in Greece, and capped off their engagement on the bride-to-be's 36th birthday in London–in a romantic gesture right out a scene of a movie. Straight out of the opening scene of Sweet Home Alabama, Jonas took his bride-to-be to Tiffany & Co., where Chopra selected the ring of her dreams. The couple then set out to plan a multi-day celebration in Jodhpur, India–packed with celebrity guests, multiple outfit changes, a palace venue, and much, much more. This was Hollywood's version of the royal wedding. Here, everything you need to know about Priyanka and Nick's nuptials.

The Wedding Date

While the couple has remained relatively mum on the details of their wedding, multiple outlets, including Entertainment Tonight, had speculated that Priyanka and Nick would wed before 2019.

A source with knowledge of the plans informed BAZAAR.com prior to the wedding that the couple was planning events for the weekend of November 30th–December 2nd, beginning with a welcome party, followed by a Mehendi, a Sangeet, a Hindu wedding ceremony, and a Western wedding ceremony. According to People, who published exclusive details and photos of the couple's celebrations, the wedding concluded in a Bidaai, a party and ceremony where friends and family of the couple bless their nuptials and future life together.

The couple's multi-day celebration took place from November 29th-December 3rd, with the ceremonies taking place on December 1st and 2nd.

The Venue

Having had a front-row seat at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal wedding in Windsor Castle, Priyanka Chopra knew a thing or two about regal wedding venues. The actress and Duchess now have one more thing in common: they both got married at castles. The Quantico actress chose the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur for her nuptials to Jonas.

Stretching across 26 acres of land (including 15 acres of private gardens), the couple had multiple options for the site of their many ceremonies, as well as room for their guests given the hotel's impressive 347 room count.

The Dress

The bride’s much anticipated dresses (yes, dresses) included a mix of Indian and Western designers. While white is deemed funereal in India, Priyanka was spotted donning the bridal hue to her shower, where she stunned in a feather-embroidered, midi dress by Marchesa, and in Amsterdam for her bachelorette weekend, where she wore a Georges Chakra mini dress with a feathered duster paired with a Hugo Boss faux fur coat.

For her Western ceremony, Priyanka wore a custom gown by Ralph Lauren, a nod back to her first red carpet appearance with Jonas at the 2017 Met Gala, where they were both dressed by the designer. The groom also wore a custom look by Ralph Lauren, perhaps as an ode to the couple's Met Gala date together.

The semi-sheer, long-sleeve gown was a "hand-beaded and hand-embroidered dress featuring floral and scroll motifs, lace-effect tulle appliqués, scalloped sleeves and a high-neck collar," People reports. It took 1,826 hours to create. The column dress beneath the embroidered outer layer consisted of 2,380,000 mother of pearl sequins. The bride accessorized with custom Jimmy Choo shoes. Her veil, a simple, raw-edged tulle net, stretched 75 feet long, blanketing the aisle behind her. It required 6 handlers to guide it down the aisle and place it perfectly for her ceremony.

The gown was not only stunning, but also sentimental. Eight different words or phrases with importance to the bride were hand-stitched onto the dress, including her husband's full name, Nicholas Jerry Jonas; their wedding date; and her parents' names, Madhu and Ashok. A piece of Priyanka's mother-in-law Denise Jonas' wedding dress was also sewn into the look, per People.

Chopra’s wedding day look is a big deal not only for its detail and 75-foot train, but for the designer as well. To date, this is the only custom-made wedding dress Ralph Lauren has made for any woman aside for his family. Lauren has previously only designed bridal gowns for his daughter, daughter-in-law, and niece, People reports.

As for her other events, Chopra turned to India’s fashion A-list. Those who have dressed Priyanka and other Bollywood superstars in the past, like Sabyasachi and Khosla Jani, both played major roles in Chopra’s wedding wardrobe as well. Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, who also worked with the couple to plan and design their entire wedding weekend, designed the multi-colored and ivory and gold looks the bride wore to both her Mehendi and her Sangeet. Sabyasachi worked with Chopra on her all-red wedding ceremony look, a stunning embroidered lehenga. The designer described the intricate work that went into the piece on his Instagram.

Priyanka Chopra @priyankachopra makes for a stunning bride in a custom red Sabyasachi lehenga. Hand-embroidered and hand-cut organza flowers, French knots in silk floss, delicate Siam-red crystals and layer upon layer of threadwork embroidery creates this piece of impossible couture. 110 embroiderers from Calcutta, India took 3720 hours to create this modern masterpiece. As an ode to the resplendence of Mughal jewellery, her wedding jewellery was crafted with uncut diamonds, emeralds and Japanese cultured pearls in 22 karat gold and had delicate tiny stars in uncut diamonds to give a sense of whimsy to an important traditional piece. The Guest List

While Nick's brothers, Joe and Kevin, as well as Joe's fiancé, Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner, played key parts in the couple's bridal party, Jonas and Chopra also welcomed countless VIPs for their celebrations in India, and hosted 225 guests in total.

The most anticipated invitees, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, unfortunately missed the celebrations. "The couple was invited to all of the celebrations in India, but given how much travel would be involved for Meghan, who’s now five months pregnant, they decided against it," a source told BAZAAR.com.

The Key Players

The wedding weekend was planned by Sandeep Khosla and Aditya Motwane, founder-owners of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and Motwane Entertainment & Weddings, People reports. The duo also designed Chopra's Mehendi and Sangeet looks as well as numerous other wedding outfits for key guests.

In hiring their vendors, Chopra and Nick turned to many of the American wedding industry's best. The two enlisted BAZAAR Bride Top Photographer Jose Villa, as well as BAZAAR Bride Top Videographer Caleb Jordan Lee of East West Productions to capture their whirlwind weekend of events. In addition, the couple hired Stories by Joseph Radhik to capture moments of their ceremonies and celebrations.

For florals, Chopra turned to BAZAAR Top Florist, Jenya Flowers, who created a clutch of tuberose, the bride's favorite flower, among other ivory blooms for her walk down the aisle.

The Bridal Party

Chopra and Jonas had 12 bridesmaids and 12 groomsmen for their Western ceremony. Mubina Rattonsey, Priyanka's BFF, served as the maid of honor, reports The Sun, while her manager and bridesmaid, Anjula Acharia, got a shout out from the bride for playing a key role in planning Priyanka's bridal shower on Chopra's Instagram. Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas' fiancé was also in the bridal party, along with Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, Frankie Jonas, Priyanka's brother Siddarth Chopra and Jonas' friend and Kingdom co-star Jonathan Tucker. The wedding party, including their four flower girls and ring bearer, all wore custom Ralph Lauren as well.

The Proposal

Nick popped the question in Crete, Greece on a birthday trip with Priyanka. He waited just after midnight to get down on one knee. It was previously reported that Jonas proposed in London, where he and Chopra were seen the week of her birthday. However, he did shut down a Tiffany & Co. store in the British capital to pick out the ring with one of his brothers weeks before the proposal.

The Ring

According to WP Diamonds president Andrew Brown, who spoke to E! News, the bride selected a high-quality, cushion-cut engagement ring weighing in at around 4 carats. "It looks to be somewhere around a G color, VS1 clarity which, from Tiffany & Co, would have a value of around $200,000," Brown told E!. Priyanka's engagement ring first appeared on Instagram, in a selfie with her friend, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon. The bride first shared images of the ring in her engagement portraits after celebrating her engagement with friends and family in Mumbai.

The Ceremonies & Pre-Wedding Parties

Traditional Hindu weddings include multiple pre-wedding ceremonies and events, and Priyanka and Nick embraced both Indian and Western traditions as they celebrated with family and friends.

The couple kicked off the pre-wedding celebrations with a puja, Hindu prayer ceremony, on November 28 at the bride’s home. The couple was photographed by paparazzi wearing pastel-colored traditional Indian clothing for the gathering.

According to People, guests then traveled to Jodhpur, where they welcomed guests to a bold and vibrant Mehendi ceremony. Typically done as all-male and all-female events, where the bride and groom are adorned with henna designs on their hands and feet, Chopra and Jonas opted for a coed Mehendi, and celebrated together. The Mehendi was followed by the Sangeet, a musical evening of dancing and performances–which were over-the-top, choreographed, and written specifically for the evening.

Following a Hindu ceremony, the couple wed in a Christian ceremony, officiated by Nick’s father, who is a pastor. The traditional Hindu wedding included Jonas riding in on a horse and the couple walking around fire seven times, signifying the seven lifetimes they’ll have together.

Following their long weekend in Jodhpur, the couple headed to Delhi, where they hosted a wedding reception at the Taj Palace Hotel.

Prior to the wedding, The couple traveled to India for their engagement ceremony just weeks after Nick proposed in August, and then celebrated stateside with Priyanka's bridal shower at Tiffany & Co. The bride to be followed her shower with a more intimate bachelorette weekend in Amsterdam with close friends, while Nick celebrated his bachelor party aboard a yacht–jam packed with multiple sponsors.

The Goody Bags

In addition to attending a glamorous wedding at an actual Indian palace, Nick and Priyanka’s wedding guests also received an assortment of freebies upon arrival to their rooms at the wedding venue. Photos shared by guests (and circulated by fans) on social media show the attendees received information packets, “Indian Weddings for Dummies” and “Western Weddings for Dummies” pamphlets, customized silver coins, and an “Oh Shit Kit” to help survive the weekend.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
