‘We Have The Evidence To Show That Scott Peterson Is Innocent’
Scott Peterson was found guilty of murdering his pregnant wife, Laci, and has been on death row for 15 years. But he insists that he is not responsible for Laci’s death, and his family has been fighting for a new trial.
“We have the evidence to show that Scott Peterson is innocent,” says Janey, Peterson’s sister-in-law, who joins Dr. Phil on Monday’s episode. “He should not be sitting on death row with this many unanswered questions.”
In the video above, Janey disputes many of the prosecution’s claims and shares what she believes occurred on the day Laci disappeared.
“There’s no time for Scott to commit this crime,” she says. “Scott has been wrongfully convicted of murdering his wife and son.”
