Ex-Coast Guard Officer Christopher Hasson Asking Appellate Court To Vacate His Guilty Plea

- Well, new developments in the case of the former Coast Guard Lieutenant from Montgomery County who prosecutors say plotted to kill members of Congress. Christopher Hasson of Silver Spring pleaded guilty in 2009 to firearms offenses. A judge applied a terrorism enhancement charge at his sentencing and gave him 13 years in prison. Hasson is now asking an appellate court to vacate his guilty plea since he was never charged under a terrorism statute.
