Former Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore was on the “The Season with Peter Schrager” podcast and heaped praise on his former starting quarterback Dak Prescott.

“He’s he best leader I’ve ever been around easily and in all honesty player or coach or anything,” said Moore, “His ability to connect with a team in all spectrums is rare and I’ve never seen it in any another way.”

Moore started off as a quarterbacks coach with the Cowboys in 2018 before becoming offensive coordinator from 2019-2022. Moore and the Cowboys mutually agreed to part ways this past offseason and Moore took an offensive coordinator position with the Los Angles Chargers.

Moore’s praise for Prescott was especially significant considering the celebrated coaches he’s worked with such as Dan Quinn, Jason Garrett and the current Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy.

Moore further praised Prescott for his command of the team and his ability to endure the increased scrutiny that comes with being the star quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys.

Prescott is the type of player Moore said he will always root for.
