Ex-Memphis Grizzlies player Marc Gasol announces retirement

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Former Memphis Grizzlies player Marc Gasol officially announced his retirement Wednesday, according to ESPN.
A video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, shows highlights and photos as Gasol talks about his career, including his time with the Grizzlies.
“End of a chapter. Thank you,” Gasol captioned the post.
Gasol played 11 seasons with the Grizzlies before being traded to the Toronto Raptors in the 2018-2019 season. He finished his NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2021. Since then, he has played for Basquet Girona in Spain.
