Wichita Falls Police confirmed Benjamin Paul Teal, 29, was arrested by officers in the WFPD Special Operations Unit during a traffic stop Friday morning.

WFPD worked closely with officers of the Denton Police Department and U.S. Marshal's Office in apprehending Teal, according to a press release from Wichita Falls Police.

Teal is wanted in the shooting deaths of a man and a woman at a Denton apartment complex March 23. The victims were found dead in a vehicle.

Another man was arrested Monday in connection with the murders.

Teal was placed in the Wichita County Jail Friday in lieu of $10 million bail on capital murder charges.

He was one of three men convicted in an aggravated robbery at an apartment in 1300 block of Central Freeway East in Wichita Falls in April 2014. They pointed semi-automatic handguns at the people inside, forced them to the floor and demanded a safe containing drugs. They also stole a television, laptop and a Playstation.

Teal was sentenced to 11 years in prison for his role in that crime. His arrest Friday also carried a parole violation charge from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
