The biggest sales event of the holiday season is quickly approaching. To ensure that you are best prepared for Black Friday (we all know you're on the hunt for a good Apple deal), here are all the details on the date, shopping times, and even some sales you can shop now.

When is Black Friday?

Every year, Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday of November. This year, Thanksgiving is on November 28, which means Black Friday is happening on November 29, 2019. While you still have a bit of time before then, it's always a smart idea to prep beforehand since Black Friday sales stress tends to induce crazy Black Friday fails.

What time does Black Friday start?

Generally for most brick-and-mortar stores and online shopping sites, Black Friday deals start at midnight Thanksgiving night, but in the past, some stores let customers shop deals as early as Thanksgiving dinnertime — some stores' doors opened as early as 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Previous years, some stores held Black Friday sales a day or two early: Target had a Black Friday Preview Sales while Amazon held a countdown to Black Friday sale with major savings in beauty, electronics, appliances, meaning people saved in practically every category as early as November 1.
